With the launch of WoW: The War Within, dungeon difficulty was restricted to Normal, and eventually Heroic difficulty unlocked for max-level characters. With the incoming launch of TWW Season 1, we will finally be able to take on Mythic difficulty and Mythic+ progression within a set roster of eight dungeons.
Four of these dungeons come from The War Within, while others are returning, revamped, from previous expansions. This guide goes over the basics of each of these eight The War Within dungeons, including details on their specific location in the overworld (for Mythic+), what the layout of each dungeon looks like, and what bosses you should expect to face in each instance.
With the launch of Season 1, we will see The Rookery, Cinderbrew Meadery, Darkflame Cleft, and Priory of the Sacred Flame replaced in Random Dungeon Finder with the four returning dungeons from prior expansions. If you still want to take on these dungeons, you must travel to their overworld locations with a premade group, or finish them before Season 1 launches.

Izo, the Grand Splicer |
Evolution has long been a central part of Nerubian life, and none possess greater passion or mastery of this process than Izo. Granted the methods of ascension by Ansurek, Izo pursues this path of perfection with determination, and little concern for who she serves, to what end, or at what cost. |
