The Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian citizens, as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India, for the following posts under the Government of Assam. The posts are in the pay scale given below along with regular allowances admissible as per Government of Assam Rules.

Qualification details

• Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
• Medicine. with minimum grades of 55%.
• Must have NET/SLET/Ph.D qualified. from any recognized University.

Topics include:

• English/ELT, Assamese, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biosciences, Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Physical Education (MPEd.), Psychology, Education (MA), Fine Arts (MFA) /MVA), Humanities/Social Sciences/Science, Economics/Statistics/Geography/Public Administration, Child Development, Information Technology, Communication/Mass Communication/Commercial Arts/Films and Television Programs/Engineering.

Additional requirements may include:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Adult Education/Social Work/Community Development/Rural Development/Women’s Studies/Communication/Journalism.
• Training or work experience in Basic Education/ SUPW/ Professional Education/ Craft Education.
• Two-year diploma in a technical trade recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training.

Age limit

• Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38 years old as of 01/10/2024.
• The upper age limit is flexible:
• For 5 years for SC/ST candidates, reaching 43 years.
• For 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per Government Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 of Dispur, dated April 25, 2018, being up to 41 years old.
• Persons with baseline disability (PwBD) are entitled to 10-year relaxation irrespective of their category, as per Government Memorandum No. ABP 180120171105 by Dispur, January 7, 2019.
• Age eligibility will be determined based on the class ).
• No other document will be accepted as proof of age in lieu of the aforementioned documents.

Under the Digital India initiative of Minisky of Electronics and lnformation Technology (MeitY), Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its online recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organisation, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.00/- + 18% tax = Rs 47.20/- from each candidate. How to apply

• Application Process: All applicants are required to apply online through the APSC recruitment website at No other application methods will be considered and applications submitted through other means will be rejected outright.
• Registration Requirement: New applicants are required to register on the APSC recruitment website by clicking on the ‘Register here’ link and completing the one-time registration (OTR) process. This involves providing basic details.
• Login: After registration, applicants need to login with their credentials to access the application form.
• OTR Details: Upon login, applicants are required to fill out the one-time registration details, including personal information, educational qualifications, work experience, and upload a recent photo (50KB to 200KB, not older than 3 months) and a signature (50 KB to 200 KB). ).
• Document Submission: Required documents and information must be submitted online. Once submitted, applicants can download their unique registration details.
• Application Submission: Navigate to ‘Applicant Section => Application Section’ on the website to submit the application form.

• Class X/XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark Sheet issued by Central/State Board, clearly indicating date of birth.
• Certificates and mark sheets of all exams from HSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) onwards up to qualifying exam level.
• Degree certificate or provisional certificate along with mark sheets of all academic years to prove educational qualifications.
• Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications, if applicable.
• Caste certificate issued by the Government of Assam for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates, specifying the caste, the law/order under which it is recognized and the ordinary residence of the candidate.
• BPL (Below Poverty Line) Certificate issued by Government of Assam, if applicable.
