Outside the Third Church of Marika
1,000 runes for each attempt
The third Church of Marika is located in Western Limgrave, just north of the Mistwood Ruins. It’s a pretty quiet place except for a Lone troll walking near ruined church entrance. It just so happens that these trolls give 1000 runes per kill.
Players then simply need to exit Marika’s Third Church Grace Site and kill the troll. Rinse and repeat until you achieve the desired number of Runes or levels. There are higher yield farming locations, but this one is low risk and also great for practicing dodging or fighting while mounted.

Morne Castle grounds

Elden Ring: 14 Bosses That Should Have Been Harder
There are a lot of difficult bosses in Elden Ring, but some should have been much more challenging than they were.
For faster clearing operation, summon some spirits and charge to these pagans. Players don’t even need to fight Pumpkin Head because he is too far away to join. Killing those poorly spawned enemies over and over again in an epic AI battle is always a fun spectacle and a fun rune farming method.
4
Morne Castle walls
Up to 2,000 runes per attempt
After clearing the Morne Castle grounds, players have two options here: pass the Pumpkin Head enemy or turn right in front of that enemy. Either option will lead to Castle Morne Ramparts. Once on top of the walls, explore the battlements a bit and look for the Morne Castle soldiers fighting the Misbegotten or Demi-Human enemies.
Just like in the Weeping Peninsula battlefield, every kill here from either side will earn the player some Runes. There are many of them fighting on the walls. Players can also join in and take out the handouts while they are busy. Profiting from war isn’t exactly ethical, but Melina needs that sugar; I’m sorry, Runes.
3
Site of Grace of the Gate Ruins
Up to 2,000 runes per attempt
The place where Melina first talks to players (usually the Gatefront Ruins Grace Site) is also one of the best starting areas to farm some Runes. Because almost every direction players take can lead to groups of enemies. To the west, just after Stormgate, is a Giant and several foot soldiers. waiting.
Players can lure the giant out first for one-on-one and then deal with the soldiers. To the east is the Camp Gate Ruins filled with lowly soldiers and wolves along with one tough knight (who can be completely avoided). Both possible agricultural sites are located just a few meters from Sitio de Gracia; Players can simply return to a safe location and rest if things go wrong.
2
Troll caravan near Waypoint ruins

Southeast of Gatefront Ruins, along the road, there should be a bridge. Players can cross that bridge and continue until they see two trolls pulling a large black caravan. Following the troll caravan is a Kaiden rider and several enemy commoners and foot soldiers who are easily killed with one or two hits.

Players don’t even need to confront the normal-sized enemies in the back of the caravan. Attacking the two trolls will stop the caravan. and the players will be free to push the trolls without interruption from the rest of the caravan (assuming they stay in front). The best part is that these trolls are weakened by their chains and can’t do much to counterattack other than the usual stomping. It’s 2000 easy runes. Killing the caravan guards will add an additional 1000 runes to your total earnings. Simply rinse and repeat.
1
South of the Warmaster’s Shack grace site
Up to 4K runes per attempt
Speaking of more trolls, Stormhill is a lovely area full of those walking giants. One area, specifically south of Warmaster’s Shack, has five of these trolls standing near a cliff. They are also spaced evenly so that players don’t have to fight multiple trolls at the same time, although doing so is faster but riskier.
Simply lure each one in with a throwing knife and fight them one by one. There are 5,000 runes; Conveniently, Warmaster’s Shack is nearby and has a Siege of Grace. A word of warning: Don’t farm these five trolls at night.; A Deathbird boss will appear and it’s a pretty tough fight for new players.
