I’ve ranked these XP farms from worst to best, but I urge you to add some to your rotation. You’ll burn out quickly if you repeat the same game, and that kind of monotony can kill the game.

Moonlight Lake Void Fragment in Hard Mode

Old but still useful

I used to do this activity frequently, although now there are better options. It’s still a decent descendant XP farm, hence its inclusion.

This farm is a little cheesy.so I recommend running it in Private mode so as not to ruin anyone else’s experience. Start the Void Shard with any Attributeless Descendant, such as Gley, and wait for the first wave of enemies to appear.

A huge mob will appear near the Shard. Defeat them then abort mission and restart. You can do this very quickly with a little practice and quickly rack up a ton of XP with minimal effort.

Kingston Special Operation: Defend Albion Resource

Perfect for new players

Kingston is a decent XP farm that you can easily complete at a low level. The appearance of enemies is predictable and the quickest way to complete the mission is to kill the enemies the moment they arrive.

The only real downside to Kingston is the time it takes. You can’t speed up the farm, as enemies spawning is fixed. Beyond that, the game loop is incredibly boring and monotonous.

Ultimately, it is a worthy XP farmbut I would spend my time elsewhere on this list. If you don’t have Hard Mode unlocked, this is possibly your best option for XP.

Eco Swamp Environment Pollution Zone in Hard Mode

Quick and easy

The Environmental Pollution Zone is a battlefield mission, and I often see other players doing it when I’m in Echo Swamp.

The mission takes place in the Eastern Abandoned Zone and is a simple elimination mission. there is no loading time between attemptsand you can finish everything in less than 40 seconds.

You get a small amount of gold and Kuiper along with your XP, but that’s not the point. The Environmental Pollution Zone is perfect for when you need a small dose of XP quicklyand the mission path is like a small loop that takes you directly back to the entrance beacon.

Invasions are also decent for XP overall, but the mechanics are unpopular enough to not have a place on the list.

Caligo Ossuary on Hard Mode

Make sure you are prepared

The Caligo Ossuary is an infiltration mission in the Agna Desert that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

If we are looking for a raw XP gain, Caligo Ossuary offers some of the highest rates in the gamebut your team must be solid to make the Infiltration worthwhile. He the final boss is a pain unless you have decent HP and Defense values, and it’s not unusual to see players fall in the fight.

I like to use Caligo Ossuary as a palate cleanser as there are better farms out there. That said, XP is solid and amorphous materials 096 and 097 are up for grabs, as long as you can beat Swamp Walker on Hard Mode.

A solid weapon XP farm

Sepulcher is an infiltration operation on Vespers that rewards a decent amount of XP and materials upon completion. You can complete the Operation with a random team in less than 4 minutes, and it is a relentless killing fest from start to finish.

Since the crowd density is so high, Sepulcher is a great place to earn weapon XPalso.

You can also obtain Amorphous Material 076 from Sepulcher, which has a 6% chance to obtain the Ultimate Stabilizer Blueprint from Gley. She’s arguably the hardest Ultimate Descendant to get, but she’s also one of the best.

Daily descending tasks

Don’t sleep with these

While not strictly for XP, there are daily tasks in The first descendantwhich curiously are hidden in the menus.

Press and hold Home to open the pause menuand you will find the daily Descendant tasks in the event tab. You can earn 200,000 Kuiper and 20 fine tuning control axes with simple objectives. TO 30% Offspring XP Boost is up for grabs, which is essential for a tough grinding session.

We’re blurring the “farming” lines for this one, but the rewards are decent and easy to miss.

Hard Mode Asylum

One of the best XP farms in season 1

The Hard Mode Asylum in the Agna Desert takes a little longer to complete than other quests on the list, but it rewards a ton of Descendant XP. You can finish the mission in about 6 minutes if your team is doing everything possible and the high enemy density also makes it useful for weapon XP.

The Asylum is an easy mission and offers a welcome break from other agricultural places if you are bored of them.

You can also get Amorphous Material 094 AA from here, which has parts for Afterglow Sword, Luna, and Ultimate Ajax.

If you notice that most of these XP farms are infiltrations, it’s because the developers significantly improved the rewards on these activities for the first season, along with many other changes.

Biological laboratory in hard mode

Big XP gains

The Hardmode Biological Lab in White-night Gulch offers one of the highest Descendant XP returns in the game. You can level up from 1 to 16+ in a single run, and it’s pretty fast in a group.

An average cleanup takes just over 5 minutes, although it depends on who else shows up.

I prefer the Magister Lab to Bio Lab because it’s faster, but this farm is great for mixing things up.

You can also target the amorphous materials 106 and 107 to get the Ultimate Bunny Code, the Ultimate Viessa Stabilizer Blueprint, and the Energy Activators.

Magister Laboratory in hard mode

The best and most affordable XP farm

Magister Lab is the first mission of the game and one of the best XP farms once you unlock hard mode.

Can Complete the Magister Lab on Hard Mode in under 3 minutes.even without a Bunny on the team. The mission is quick and easy and you get a mountain of XP.

It’s important to note that most of the XP is earned by defeating the boss at the end. If you bring a Level 1 Descendant to the quest, you’ll probably rise more than 12 ranks by the end, which is huge.

You can also grind Amorphous Material 057 here for a 6% chance of getting an Energy Activator from the Executioner fight on Hard Mode.

A Bunny always helps with fast clear times, but as long as you’re using something powerful, like a cage of thunderyou can contribute.

Special operation on barren land: Block Kuiper Mining

A top-notch farm for XP and more

Block Kuiper Mining is easily my favorite farm in the game. It’s more active than the Kingston farm and gives a ridiculous amount of XP. Most importantly, you also gain a respectable amount of weapon XP in addition to descendant XP, so you can double-dip.

There are so many enemies that you will often find Arrest Marks (consumables that give gold). You’ll also find a constant supply of Void Shards.

The only downside is that some players will join in to take advantage of your kills without contributing. If this happens to you, report them and go find a better group. Even with some players not doing their part, The Special Operation Barren Land has it all: Lots of XP for weapons and Descendants, Gold, and it’s pretty fast considering the rewards.

There have been huge positive changes to XP earning and rewards since launch. The developers boldly stated The first descendant he was going to be the “next generation of looter shooters.” While the title may not be available to most people yet, they may go in that direction with solid balance patches and content releases.
