Higher quality than ever
After the release of Bleach TYBW Part 2, Studio Pierrot announced the creation of a sub-studio called “Pierrot Films”. For over twenty years, Studio Pierrot has had a bad reputation for less than ideal animation quality and poor adaptations of beloved manga like Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, and Bleach. While these had moments of greatness, overall, fans feel that these adaptations do not do justice to their source material.
With the release of Bleach TYBW, Studio Pierrot surprised fans by adapting the new arc with excellent modern animation and fantastic pacing and direction. A luxury that the original series did not have. While the first two parts impressed, they were still compared to the incredible animation seen in Murderer of demons, chainsaw manand Jujutsu Kaisen.

Expansion of the source material
Tite Kubo seeks to please his fans
Tite Kubo has worked closely with Studio Pierrot to improve the original manga and include many scenes and plots that he wanted to work on during the original release. Something she could not do due to his delicate state of health. Kubo worked as more than just a consultant with series director Tomohisa Taguchi, and the two wrote many new ideas for the anime. Things like Uryuu Ishida’s new scenes in Part 1, Ichigo’s extended battle with the Bambies, the flashback showing the original Gotei 13, and Senjumaru’s new Bankai are some of these famous additions.
