Call of Duty Zombies It’s sometimes not a forgiving experience, and with nearly 2 decades of the mode in Treyarch’s history Obligations titles, those who have tried it even one or more times will be aware of some mistakes they have made that could have cost them the game.
There are many mistakes that new and old players could make in Call of Duty Zombies They serve as a nostalgic reminder of how far players have come and hopefully new players can avoid these mistakes to ensure their highest round doesn’t end in single digits.

Kill the last zombie instead of creating a tracker
Starting a new round when the players are not ready is always a pain
There’s nothing worse than trying to accomplish some tasks in a Zombies game by purchasing perks, hitting the Mystery Box, or even completing Easter egg steps, all while there’s a round of zombie frenzy. To avoid this, players can often slow down a zombie by turning it into a tracker with a grenade, but sometimes things don’t go as planned.
Whether players overcook the grenade or deal too much damage, the zombie can die instantly, or perhaps they accidentally drank Widow’s Wine, resulting in a hit from the zombie causing it to explode. Whatever the case, even the best players sometimes fail when trying to create a zombie to stop the progress of the round.

Dying from ray gun splash damage
Ray guns have explosive damage that can easily kill players quickly if fired too close
Acquiring a wonder weapon is an extremely satisfying task, whether as a buildable item or as a gift from the Mystery Box. However, one wonder weapon that will never leave the player’s side is the Ray Gun, a staple of the series that has been with fans since day one. However, despite Ray Gun’s coolness and power, there is a problem.

Since its debut in 2008, Treyarch has released a wide variety of Call of Duty Zombies maps, and a few stand out for better or worse.
The ray gun has explosive splash damage, meaning that if players fire it too close to them, they will take damage too. Getting cornered by zombies and relying on the ray gun to kill them all is a bad idea, as the splash damage will kill the player without PhD Flopper, leading to a classic “Please revive me, brother, I have a ray gun.”in cooperative.

Buy the wrong door
Disrupting training venues by opening the wrong door ruins things for everyone
Obtaining points to further enhance the player’s capabilities is everyone’s goal in COD ZombiesAnd as players accumulate points and hope to spend them on delicious perks and upgrades, they may be disappointed to learn that they must first waste them all on doors and obstacles. However, there is something even worse than that.
Occasionally, there may be an important door on a map that, if opened, will completely destroy the training locations of many. Whether it’s the door closest to the switch in Kino Der Toten or the sofa on the stairs in Nacht der Untoten, opening the wrong door is fatal and irreversible for many.

Stab a zombie and instantly get a nuclear bomb
A knife attack can cause players to gain a power-up that disrupts the first few rounds
For the most part, players should know how to stab zombies properly. They should know that the zombies will hit them if they get too close, so it’s best to pull back on the left stick while clicking R3 to stab them, which will instead go for a connecting slash instead of a deep dive into their chest. This will save players and prevent unwanted power-up.

Lose a gun to pack a punch
If a Pack-A-Punch update is not obtained in time, it will disappear
The Pack-a-Punch machine is essential for late game rounds in COD Zombies due to its high level of damage. Upgrading a weapon should be everyone’s priority, but Pack-a-Punch can often be found in fairly tight spots which makes using them in the middle of a chaotic round a problem and will often find players trapped against the Pack-a-Drilling Machine, or worse.
Sometimes players who pack their weapon can end up losing it due to not being able to grab it before it was sucked back into the machine. This 5,000 point loss is enough to make any Zombies veteran cry, especially if it’s a wonder weapon.
1
Get maximum ammo before reloading
The modern era of Call of Duty Zombies It doesn’t count towards this issue, but this is an absolute classic that everyone should know about and has happened to them several times over the years. When a Max Ammo power-up appears, everyone can rejoice knowing their weapons are safe from running out of power, but the classic Max Ammo wouldn’t reload the magazine, only the reserves.
This meant that those who claimed maximum ammo before players reloaded would lose a valuable magazine and therefore more bullets than they wanted. Alternatively, picking up max ammo while a teammate needs to revive will cause them to lose max ammo, meaning they could go down again.
