Applications are invited from eligible candidates to create a panel for five (05) contractual Medical Consultant (MC) posts for three (03) years in various dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. The posts include 03 unreserved (UR), 01 scheduled tribe (ST) and 01 other backward class (OBC) posts, with fixed hourly remuneration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Doctor in hospitals or clinics.
- Postgraduate Degree: Applicants with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine are also eligible.
- Location: The applicant must have a clinic/dispensary or residence within 10-15 kilometers of any of the listed Bank dispensaries.
- Remuneration: Fixed based on the hours of work actually performed, with all-inclusive payment.
Remuneration
- Hourly Rate: Fixed at ₹1000 per hour for the entire contract period of 3 years.
- Monthly Payment: The fixed remuneration will be paid monthly.
- Transportation Expenses: ₹1000 per month will be allocated for transportation expenses.
- Retirement benefits: No pension, provident fund or gratuity will be provided.
- Licenses and benefits: No additional licenses, benefits or facilities will be offered.
- Holidays: If work is required on holidays, compensation of ₹1000 per hour will be provided.
- Taxes: Income tax will be deducted at source as per applicable rates and government notifications.
Selection modalities
to) Interview process:
- The Bank will conduct interviews with the shortlisted candidates.
- The Bank reserves the right to adjust eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates invited for interview.
- Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview.
- The Bank will not correspond with candidates who are not shortlisted for interview.
b) Medical exam:
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical examination as per prescribed norms.
- The cost of medical examinations/tests will be borne by the applicants.
- Selection is subject to verification of documents and medical fitness.
C) Appointment conditions:
- Candidates selected for the panel will be appointed as vacancies arise, depending on medical fitness and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Contract and Code of Conduct.

- Guarantee the right to reservation according to Schedule Tribe (ST) or Other Backward Class (OBC).
- Submit valid certificates in the prescribed format to support your claim along with the application.
