The Haunted Chocolatier Should Use Stardew Valley as a Springboard into a Community Area
As anticipation for Haunted Chocolatier builds, the game’s release should include a Stardew Valley staple right from the start.
stardew valley Fan Witherwingg shared his embarrassment at being trapped inside his farm fence. A screenshot shows the player’s farmer standing in the middle of a fenced area, still holding a
post over your head. The player had previously given his ax to
to update the stardew valley tool, which requires leaving it there for a couple of days while you work on it. Without thinking, they began to build a fence and surrounded it, forgetting that they had no way to break down the fence and escape once inside. The only option for them at that point was to give up and wait for their farmer to pass out, or restart the day entirely.
Avoid getting trapped inside a Stardew Valley fence
Fellow players were sympathetic to the plight of the fans. Some were quick to point out that there is a possible solution to this problem for anyone who finds themselves in a similar circumstance. If a player has a gate in his inventory or can create one, he can place the gate where the fence already is and it will replace nearby fence posts with the gate, giving them an escape route. However, this particular fan says they didn’t have
in their inventory, so this was not an option for them either.
Fortunately, the game’s daily saves and its exhaustion system help prevent mistakes from having more serious consequences. While there is a negative impact the next day if the farmer is up after 2am and doesn’t make it to bed, it is a relatively minor thing and can be offset by food or rest during the day in the stardew valley spa or bed in single-player and multiplayer modes, respectively. Still, it’s easy to understand why the player felt foolish at the time.
For what it’s worth, Witherwingg is far from the first fan to have an embarrassing moment in stardew valley. After all, anyone can make mistakes, but hopefully Witherwingg’s experience will help prevent other fans from finding themselves trapped in the same way.
