Chapter 4: The Cellar

Chapter 5: Beauty

Chapter 6: The Manor
The Butler is on a rampage, getting his hands dirty by committing murder. The Duke feels relieved as he touches the weapon. Two paths take shape: either the murderer, Butler, is arrested on inspection or the innocent, Duke, gets arrested for a crime he did not commit. Whichever path players choose to take, someone gets arrested and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.

Chapter 7: Crown Intrigue
A series of deaths take place and the queen is rescued, having two options, either to get married or to take revenge. After a forgiving Usurper, the queen again has two options: either she gets married (to the baron) or to a fearsome dragon (which is the baron’s mischievous plan).

Chapter 8: Secrets
A secret plan is put into action and, behind the scenes, the detective is on the lookout for the murderer – and arrests him. This sets the stage for three distinct narratives: Does the butler get dismissed for a specific reason? As for the Duke’s Spouse, does she seek revenge or report the butler’s arrest? If the cards are played right, the duchess can get the murderer arrested and seek justice for her husband’s murder.

Three paths emerge – the execution of the queen, the baron or a matriarch; or alternatively, the queen orders the execution of all men.

Chapter 12: Monsters
Bernard savours Juliet by becoming a werewolf, and meets demise by drinking poison. The pet revives to enact revenge on Isobel. The queen gets the baron arrested, and a vampire is cured of vampirism. Two paths emerge; a monster, either the dragon (baron) or the werewolf, is slain.

Chapter 13, Drama
This chapter features puzzles based on contemporary dramas and plays that explore relevant social and political issues. In the first puzzle, Narcissus, the mirror praises everyone, fueling narcissism among the characters and leading to deadly conflicts. The second puzzle, Oedipus, follows the Greek myth of Oedipus, a son who unknowingly kills his father and marries his mother. This opens up different paths and new puzzles called Hamlet, Salome, Godot.
