Being the cash cow that it is, EA is always trying to renew and improve. FC25The goose that lays the golden eggs Ultimate Team. Over the years, they’ve done this with SBCs, rivals, FUT champions, and much more. But one of the modern changes that has kept football fans coming back for more is Evolutions, a trick that allows you to upgrade your existing players through hard work.

EA Sports FC 25 Review
If you love the beautiful game and need an excuse to get rid of that worn-out copy of eFootball PES 2021, this is yours.
You can turn a card that would otherwise cost a dime into a surprisingly powerful asset when trying to build your dream team. However, not all evolutions are equal and some are more worth it than others. So to show you which players are worth looking out for, here are some of the best players in Sports EA FC25 with unlocked potential that you can realize.
10
Nicholas Jackson
No Cole Palmer, but pretty good
We start with a player who was very hot and cold last season with Chelsea as he found his place in the Premier League, but this season he already looks like the true leader of the Blues’ line.
Therefore, there is even more reason to invest some time and effort in his evolution, turning his regular card into one that combines speed and finishing, which is exactly what is expected of a striker.
His improved card raises his overall stat from 78 to 82, which is a decent jump, but here it’s all about improving finishing as this makes Jackson much more reliable in front of goal.
Sure, he’s still no Cole Palmer, but every Batman needs his Robin, right?
9
Joe Gomez
Faster than Van Der Ven
Joe Gomez is England’s forgotten man at the back. Despite Liverpool’s solid performances and defensive shortages when the Euros came around, they failed to get a game.
But that shouldn’t influence your opinion when it comes to building your team, as Joe is a reliable center half and, with some time spent nurturing his development card, becomes a true Royals Royce at the back.
All the stats increase on their card, but the most striking of all is the 89 pace stat that you can potentially achieve here, making them a faster centre-back than Mikey Van Der Ven, and not far behind.
If you want to spend time in a defensive Evo, this is without a doubt the best option.
8
Leon Bailey
Beats the sides with ease
When Leon Bailey plied his trade in Germany, he was a player who offered moments but failed to deliver consistent performances.
This all changed when he signed for Emery’s Villa, and he has been on fire ever since, serving as a pace merchant with the final product.
His standard card in FUT doesn’t necessarily reflect that, but if you work towards his Evo card, you’ll see his true potential.
Bailey maintains his 90 pace, but with the added caveat of improving his shooting, passing, defense and physicality. Basically, it makes him a much more complete full-back, with the ability to convert more chances.
He always had the ability to run behind and have those opportunities, but now you can count on him when he’s one on one.
7
Dominic Szoboszlai
Having had a solid season at a very strong Liverpool side last season, only getting a rating of 81 seemed a bit harsh for Szoboszlai. Especially considering his passing range and ability to shoot from distance.
Well, if you agree with that general sentiment and would like access to a more generous Szoboszlai card, then you should check out their Evo.
This gives Sbozablai a solid 83 rating and an improvement in every stat displayed on his card, offering reasonable pace, excellent passing and wonderful shots.
The obvious alternative to Evo here would be the likes of Joelinton or Koby Mainoo. But for me, Hungarian is a little better, so it’s worth investing in.
6
Darwin Nunez
Help him lace up his shooting boots
Continuing with all things Liverpool, we have another striker who is incredibly hot and cold, but no matter what he does, you can count on one thing. He will surely do something that is absolutely blockbuster.
Darwin Nunez’s real-world and in-game problem is ending as he has everything else going for him, and with an Evo upgrade you can finally help him lace up his shooting boots and score some goals.
It’s still fast-paced, but now also has boosts to all displayed stats, including a huge boost to shooting, making them more than capable of hitting a barn door.
I don’t know if Núñez will one day be Luis Suárez’s Uruguayan replacement at Liverpool, but if you make his Evo, he could be a very good imitation for your FUT club.
5
Ademola Lookman
Atalanta’s main man
Next, we have a man who performed so well in a match that he managed to get a perfect ten from L’Équipe and make the Ballon d’Or shortlist. Not bad for a night’s work. Alemola Lookman has come on leaps and bounds since his time at Fulham and has been a big part of Atalanta’s recent success. However, his standard FUT card does little to prove this.
This is why you should take the time to strengthen it by doing its Evo. This gives them a striker with reasonable pace, phenomenal shooting and excellent physical skills, making them versatile forwards and a real nightmare for defenders. I may never be able to disassociate it from that. embarrassing Paneka penalty against West Hambut every goal he scores when playing FUT certainly helps.

4
Ryan Gravenberg
The new star of Liverpool’s engine room
It took a while for Ryan Gravenbirch to establish himself at Liverpool, but under Arne Slot, he is enjoying a real purple streak, picking up Man of the Match awards left, right and centre.
This may be a contributing factor to so many players taking it upon themselves to work on their Evo card, but it’s not just the real-world performances that justify this, as the statistics speak for themselves.

Sometimes it’s about the gameplay, sometimes it’s about the visuals, but it’s always about the quality, so let’s take a look at some double-A games.
The Gravenberch Evo is the perfect midfield all-rounder. He is strong, brilliant advancing and playing without the ball, has the ability to score a goal and has enough pace so that the game phase never leaves him behind.
It’s a wonderful card to have in your possession, so give Gravenberch the shine it deserves.
3
Gabriel Jesus
Brazilian style galore
As an Arsenal fan, I’ve lost a bit of patience with Gabby Jesus in real life and accepted that she will never be a reliable goal machine.
But, in terms of FC25, I can’t get enough of the silky Brazilian. Gabby’s Evo card is a work of art that offers improved pace, shooting, passing and physicality. While maintaining his characteristic dribbling skills.
Gabriel Jesus is famous for his ability to dance around defenders in tight spaces, and this card couldn’t be a greater tribute to that.
If Arsenal end up selling him in January, I honestly wouldn’t be too upset. But if you try to take my FC25 from me Jesus, well, then you’re in for a fight.
2
Inaki Williams
Fast pace, with skills to back it up
Iñaki Williams has a reputation for being one of Athletic Bilbao’s most important players. This is because he never misses a game, he is fast, has a lot of skill, has never turned his head and has remained loyal to the exclusively Basque football club.
He’s what you call a one-club man, but you can lure him into your club in FUT and give him a decent Evo upgrade when you do. Williams hits pretty much full stride when it comes to non-TOTW cards.
Still, with this Evo card, you also get boosts to most of his base stats, with a big boost to his shooting ability, meaning you’ll be able to burn defenders, leaving them in your wake, and then have the tools to miss the opportunity. What is it not to love?
1
Romeo Lavia
A striking shine
Lastly, we have a favorite surprise here, but this card doesn’t get talked about enough because it’s almost broken and offers some of the highest shine of any Evo card currently on the list.
Romeo Lavia hasn’t done much to guarantee a big stat boost in Chelsea colors, but if you take the time to build his Evo you’ll get a boost from 75 to a staggering 84.
This improvement essentially makes them the all-around midfielder Chelsea would like to actually be. He offers a brilliant and versatile package, as he can pass, shoot, defend and dictate play with ease.
It’s a card that many may overlook due to the player it’s aligned with, but I assure you that even if Lavia isn’t uprooting trees in real life, she’ll do the business in FC25, we promise.
