Like most survival RPGs, once human gives you the freedom to create your own unique and personalized space, called Territory. You initially start with a small space and can expand your territory as you progress. Not only that, you can decorate your base with different furniture, lights and other aesthetic elements.

To get new furniture, you need Furniture plans. These are essentially formulas that you need to learn to create specific furniture. By purchasing different plans, you can customize your territory with everything from basic needs to decorative details. While you can buy furniture plans at the regular or seasonal store, this guide covers all the ways you can get them for free.

How to Get Furniture Plans in Once Human

There are two main ways to get furniture plans for free on once human. Both methods are time-consuming, so be prepared to put in a few hours of gameplay.

Looting Containers

You can find tons of furniture plans by searching through various bins scattered around the once human world. Be sure to loot all the chests, trash cans, and even cabinets you find.

The best location to loot furniture plans is the Blackfell Fallen Zone in it Red Sands region. Specifically, the green house in the southeast corner of the area at the coordinates (4523, -1462) It is home to dozens of lootable containers. You can find boxes, trash bins, and various cabinets inside the house, backyard, and front yard.

Other points of interest for searching for plans include:

  • Clifton (6862, -2790) in Río Hierro

  • Refinery contamination point (5249, -3679) in Iron River

  • Grandma Nina’s Restaurant (971, -5879) in Chalk Peak

All lootable containers reset every four hours, starting at 12am ET. It is not necessary to log out to update the contents, as the game automatically restores them. By taking advantage of the container reset timer, you can increase your chances of finding your desired furniture plans.
